Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Surgical Inventory application (the Application), provided by Coastal Medical Services, handles information when you sign in and use it.
Last updated: 2026-08-23
Sign-in and identity
The Application uses Google sign-in. When you sign in, we receive your Google account email address and basic profile information. We use this only to verify your identity, determine your access level and role within your organization, and keep you signed in during your session. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
Where your data lives
Inventory and operational data
The Application stores inventory and operational records (such as items, quantities, locations, and activity) in a database hosted within your own organization’s Google Cloud project. Coastal Medical Services provides the software; each organization controls and hosts its own data in its own cloud, and Coastal Medical Services does not operate a shared database of client data.
Patient-related information
Any patient-related identifiers entered into the Application are stored within your organization’s own environment and are not transmitted to or stored by Coastal Medical Services. Your organization remains responsible for its own patient data.
Cookies, sessions, and sharing
Cookies and sessions
The Application uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. It is cleared when you sign out or your session ends.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your sign-in information with third parties except as required to operate Google sign-in itself.
