Practice growth consulting that scales with your success
A practice can outgrow the systems that got it started. Scheduling that jams, a front office held together by one person’s memory, revenue leaking in ways the reports do not show. Our consulting works on the operational side of the practice, the part that decides whether growth is profitable or just busier.
We work with practices at every stage, from a single location finding its footing to a group scaling across several. What you take on is scoped to what the practice actually needs, not a fixed package.
Three levels, matched to where the practice actually is
You start at the level that matches where the practice actually is, and move up only when there is a reason to. No level assumes you need the one above it.
Foundational practice growth
We help create efficient processes, standardize administrative systems, and strengthen front office workflows so the practice runs smoothly and predictably.
Refine what already works
Ongoing support across clinical operations, revenue systems, and front office performance. We refine workflows, strengthen documentation, and support measurable performance goals while maintaining compliance.
Scale across locations
Leadership development, advanced revenue planning, operational optimization, and long term growth strategy, so a practice can scale confidently across locations.
Add only what your practice needs
Any engagement can be expanded with focused support designed to strengthen operations, staffing, and financial performance. You are not buying a fixed bundle.
- Payer contract and fee schedule review to confirm you are paid what your contracts actually say
- Staff training and recruitment support based on proven practice management models
- Compliance review and revenue recovery analysis to identify missed reimbursement
- Front office workflow design, from scheduling and intake through eligibility verification
- Customized reporting and performance tracking for measurable improvement
Predictable cost, no restrictive commitments
You receive support that evolves with your practice, so you can improve performance without unnecessary overhead or long term lock-in.
Costs stay predictable
Structured access to strategic planning, operational insight, and financial guidance, aligned with your goals rather than an open-ended retainer.
Onsite when it helps
For practices that benefit from direct collaboration, we offer onsite consultation and training that align leadership and staff and speed up implementation.
Clarity, not just advice
The point is not a deck of recommendations. It is a practice that runs better after we leave, with changes your team can actually keep.
Common questions about practice consulting
The engagement is scoped to the practice. These answers cover how the work is structured.
What does practice growth consulting actually include?
It covers the operational side of running the practice rather than the clinical side: workflow and front office design, payer contract and fee schedule review, staffing and role structure, reporting that leadership can act on, and planning for expansion. The engagement is scoped to the level the practice actually needs rather than a fixed package.
How is consulting different from the billing service?
Billing is the recurring work of getting claims out, worked, and collected. Consulting looks at why the numbers are what they are and what would have to change structurally to improve them. A practice can use either on its own. They work well together because the billing data shows where the operational problems actually are.
Do we have to commit to a long engagement?
No. Coastal Medical Services offers three engagement levels so a practice can start with a defined scope and expand only if the work justifies it. The intent is structured access to planning and operational guidance rather than an open-ended retainer.
Can you work with a practice that already has a billing company?
Yes. Consulting does not require moving the billing. If the practice is happy with its current biller, the consulting work focuses on the operational and financial questions around it, and any findings about claim handling are given to the practice to take to whoever handles it.
